Judging is complete and there are four winning entries for our County Schools’ Holiday Art Contest. The winning entries will be recognized by County Superintendent Ted Alejandre at the Holiday Open House on Dec. 7. Each of our recipients will receive a certificate for their winning entry, plus 25 greeting cards with their designs.

The winning entry recipients are:

Christian Martinez, a student at Upland Community School. His teacher Daniel Drass is from County Schools’ West End Operations. Christian’s design is one of two featured on our County Schools’ greeting card.

The second honoree is Jacob Godinez, the son of Celeste Godinez, who works in our Student Services Branch. Jacob’s design is the second of the two featured on our County Schools’ greeting card.

The next honoree is Addison Lowenberg, the daughter of Casey Lowenberg, who works on the staff at CAHELP JPA in the High Desert. Addison’s design was one of two drawings used for our County Schools’ Open House Invitation.

The fourth winning entry comes from Aidan Resendez, the son of Kathie Resendez, who is a staff member in our Student Services Branch. Aidan’s design also was used for our County Schools’ Open House Invitation.
